Below are videos of models of planets in polarized light. The z-axis and color value are the polarization, the x and y axes are the wavelength and phase. This allows us to see at which scattering angles and colors the polarization is strongest in different scenarios and how the polarized spectrum might change with phase. Most of these models are only at a resolution of 50 nm and with phase steps at 5 degrees. Stokes Q is shown. The Stokes U, Stokes V, polarized signal or unpolarized signal (normal old spectra and phase curves) are available upon request. In each movie I try to show it from all sides so you see along the phase axis twice and along the wavelength axis twice. I end with a view from above where the colors act essentially as a contour plot.
